A few weeks ago, we talked with Remy Gieling about Chat GPT. We ended that episode with the importance of investing in AI, Artificial Intelligence, for every entrepreneur. Get into it Remy said, even if you don't feel like it. Look at the broader opportunities from process optimization to making better products. Insights from data sets, competitors especially abroad are not standing still. Stay relevant. We agreed to zoom deeper into the opportunities. So today we speak again with Remy Gieling, founder of AI.nl. This time we talk about how to stay ahead of the competition, RPA, Robotic Process Automation and short and long-term opportunities in AI.
Frightening
Often entrepreneurs and executives have a freeze or flight reaction when it comes to AI. It's often about very technical stuff and developments are happening at lightning speed. The public relations firm Edelman conducted a survey of 20,000 working professionals. Of these, 60% said that they find the developments in technology a bit frightening. So it's also not surprising that people aren't quite sure where to start when it comes to AI. But fortunately, you can knock this fairly flat for your organization.
Remy has several tips that you as a business owner can work with in both the short and long term. For starters, we focus on the short term.
"My contention anyway is always that every company should appoint a Chief Automation Officer. Someone who keeps an eye on all the tools and developments of all the start-ups with AI sleight of hand," said the AI expert.
The various tools make your work more efficient and fun. There are numerous tools you can subscribe to. So don't panic! You really don't have to be a techie.
Example: there is a tool, browse.ai, that monitors your competitor's website. For example, the tool checks if they make price or product adjustments. A kind of online spy.
