We regularly talk to entrepreneurs about their formula for success. We test those against recent scientific findings. Have they done what science shows to be a success method? Today we talk to Anna Noorda, General Manager of GoodZo, IT partner of companies and organizations. They have been training empathetic people to become consultants who help companies and organizations search for the ideal IT solution since 2013. They grew rapidly to 135 employees.
Inclusive labor market
Hiring people based on intrinsic motivation, drives and more on who you are rather than what you can do. This way of hiring new talent is something GoodZo embraces. "That's not to say that what you can do is also pretty important. When we hire people we really engage in conversations with someone," Anna said. But in addition to the interviews, there is also a group assessment where they can see if leadership qualities emerge in someone. Furthermore, an intelligence test is used. "Then we can also see is someone good at verbal analogies, do you understand logic? Then we can see if someone has the technical aspects to understand IT. With this basic profile, we open the door to a lot of people, because we look at who you are and we really don't care what your background is either. As long as there's something in there of 'I'm on the edge of my seat, I'm a generalist and I just want to be able to make it.'"
