3 years as B Corp: We put sustainability at the heart of HR, create equity and drive growth for well-being. How VIE People drives sustainable growth and well-being in HR.

Positive impact

For 3 years now, we have been VIE People B Corp certified. And we are proud of that! 

Even before we received this certification, we were already doing our work the B Corp way: always getting the best out of people, with as little negative impact on the environment/nature/the world and as much impact as possible on the work of colleagues. Because we believe that if you feel good at work, you will radiate this in the rest of your life, for example at home or along the line of the well-known sports fields. For us, the certification is a great confirmation that we are doing the right thing. 


B Corp certified, now what?

But what does it really mean when you are a B Corp as an HR organization? For us, it's in big and small things, but mostly that we help our clients make an impact. 

Some examples of the service we offer: 

Core values: we work with many organizations on their core values. Expressing how we work together and treat each other creates equality among colleagues and makes expectations for employees specific. In addition, core values give words to the culture within the organization. It creates a culture where everyone can be themselves, know what their/their contribution is and everyone can flourish in their work.

Recruitment: We help companies set up the recruitment process so that every candidate gets equal treatment and opportunity. What is needed for this: a clear process, a clear job profile, objective selection criteria, the use of assessments or personality questionnaires such as Equalture or Facet5 and well-trained interviewers. This is to remove biases from the assessment and ensure equal treatment. There is no room for discrimination on any grounds. Fair pay and conditions are offered. We teach hiring managers how to have the right conversation and how to approach candidates in a respectful manner and also reject them.

Absenteeism: We pay attention to absenteeism by working on preventive wellbeing and by taking active action in case of absenteeism. We really listen to employees, with attention to problems and concrete actions to get back to work as soon as possible.

Development Matrix: We think employee development is very important. How do you stay happy in your role? What are you responsible for? If you want to grow, what does it take to do that? These are some of the questions we encounter on a regular basis. We help with a development matrix. The matrix provides an instrument to look objectively at functions, roles and people. The matrix leaves no room for arbitrariness and contributes to a fair job structure and fair remuneration. In addition, employees get a clear picture of where they can develop in order to grow or advance in their own role. The matrix contributes to having the right, substantive conversation.
