Who doesn't know it? You are always "busy" and constantly on. In addition, we are inundated with information from all sides. The result: we are easily distracted and lose sight of our goal. Work smart, play smart, the new book by Hidde de Vries, founder of the Recharge Company is about how we work smarter and definitely not harder. In this podcast we talk about how to deal with this, the influence of your mindset, energy management and recharging.
The future state
Do you know where you want to grow and what goal you have in mind? According to Hidde, the future state is about "knowing what you want to achieve and why that is important." Hidde de Vries founded the training agency The Recharge Company and in doing so came up with the Recharge program, which helps you create for effective routines that help you achieve your personal goals.
The Recharge Model
He recently wrote the book "Work smart, play smart" with the goal of making people aware of today's workload and bridging the gap between wellbeing and vitality. "How are you most comfortable in your skin and how do you perform best?" are central to this. I can hear you thinking "yet another book with the same insights?", surely not! Hidde says: "You know a lot of things but you don't do much with them. If you really want to make change, you have to work with it continuously." He developed the Recharge model in which you train yourself to take a step back in five days.
