Technological innovations that work well and make a big impact are easy to spot but very challenging to create. Coming up with brilliant ideas is a challenge in itself, but translating them into a successful product proves to be an even greater challenge. Prof. Deborah Nas. tells us about the Tech innovators Guide she wrote in this episode of the podcast.

Deborah works as a professor in strategic design for Technology-based innovation at TU Delft and also works with large companies and startups on innovations. She recently wrote the book, Design things that make sense: Tech. innovators Guide.

Better tech products

Deborah had been concerned for some time with the ultimate collaboration between science and business. Examples of products using the latest technologies include the smart thermostat, electric vehicles, apps with artificial intelligence and complete smart home solutions. With her newly released book, she aims to help innovation teams develop better tech products like these.

Innovations in practice

For both start-ups struggling with limited resources and scale-ups that need to deploy their resources very thoughtfully, there are many challenges when it comes to technological innovation. Are you curious about how you can deploy these new technologies, what innovation teams are using now, why technology-driven innovation is so difficult and how you can translate it into customer-focused innovation that is understandable for everyone? Listen to this episode of the Work Professor in which Prof. Deborah Nas answers these questions and get a chance to win this inspiring book!
